Behold the Bride Ministries deals specifically with the Preparation of the Bride of Christ.
We know the urgency of the hour that we live in and one of the biggest concerns is the following:
- How many of these wonderful people are actually ready for the Lord’s return?
- Is the Bride of Christ eagerly looking out for His return?
- And what is the temperature of their First Love?
Both the book ‘Behold the Bride’ and the ‘Preparation of the Bride Teachings’ are about awakening and quickening the Bride.
In order to do that, we present a 5 week course at churches. One night per week for 5 weeks in Johannesburg or 5 nights in a row outside of Johannesburg.
The time that we have to prepare is now. No one just arrives on the day of their wedding and hopes that they are ready.
As pastors and leaders in the church, one of our most urgent desires is to get people saved, born again. And it is extremely important. It literally is a matter of life and death. Yet in truth, once they are born again, the journey has only just begun.
Paul says to the ‘born again’ church in Galatia:
Gal.4:19 My little children, for whom I labour in birth again until Christ be formed in you.
Of course, we know this.
The goal of everything, is Christ in us, the hope of glory. His character and His nature in us.
Paul starts off his teaching in Eph.5:1-2 Therefor be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma.
Paul ends Eph.5 with the reason Christ gave Himself for us.
Eph.5:25-27 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word.
V27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.
The body of Christ is being prepared by Jesus to become the glorious church because the Lamb’s wife, the New Jerusalem, is filled with the glory of God. Christ in us, the hope of glory. Rev.21:9-11 / V2-23He
