Cum Laude Science Academy (CLSA) offers assistance to grade 10-12 learners in Physical Science. Our primary focus is equipping ambitious students with the necessary subject knowledge and skillset required for future tertiary studies.
Learners striving for a distinction, or wanting to apply for university courses with minimum grade requirements (B, A or even A+), are ideal CLSA candidates.
CLSA functions like a private online school, where the subject matter is explained thoroughly and subject-related skills are developed, laying a strong foundation of scientific thinking, development of insight and examination preparedness. No “cramming” gets done, as it offers no positive contribution to university preparedness.
Learners attend two online lessons a week and are given homework and study materials to exercise and increase their understanding of the subject matter. During lessons, controls are implemented to ensure participation through the use of online platforms. Learners have their webcams switched on during lessons, facilitating better levels of engagement, participation and interaction. Regular assessments are conducted to monitor learners’ progress.
