Play Sense combines an award-winning play-based program with a unique micro-school model to give toddlers the best start to their learning journey. Our innovative program uses play to develop the super skills that children need to thrive.
Play Sense is a play-based, home-based playgroup for toddlers with a maximum group size of 6 children. Developed by Occupational Therapists Meg Faure and Lara Schoenfeld, the curriculum is well-researched and developed with the toddler’s needs in mind. Through play and in this small group setting, toddlers can learn all the skills they will need for their later schooling, together with ‘super skills’ like empathy, focus, collaboration, and creativity. This group is owned and run by Teacher Jana, a dedicated Foundation Phase teacher with a passion for toddlers and play. She loves getting to know each child personally and enriching their daily activities with what sparks their interest and according to their needs.
