Witbank House of Prayer is a Missions base with the mission to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength; to live daily in an intimate and loving relationship with Him; and to live Godly and holy lives.
Our vision is to grow a night and day House of Prayer with worship and prayer keeping the fire burning on the Altar, out of which we train worshippers and intercessors, support the body of Christ in our nation and have an impact for the Kingdom of God in our city, nation and globally through prayer and worship.
Witbank House of Prayer is an official Education Partner of the International House of Prayer University, Kansas City, USA. We offer two different formal training platforms out of Witbank House of Prayer, the Forerunner School of Ministry, a four year degree as well as the Forerunner School of Worship four year degree that can be studied on campus at Witbank House of Prayer.
We also offer an Internship year called the Joshua Year, laying a rock solid foundation in the lives of all who enroll through time in the prayer room, training, discipleship, outreaches, a counselling course, evangelism and informal leadership training.

Witbank House of Prayer is connected with the International House of prayer University, Kansas City Missouri, USA. Through their training school, you can receive ministry training online while you serve in our House of Prayer. IHOPU has three learning environments; Education, Prayer and Ministry. Education happens online as you receive the resources of IHOPU teachers. Prayer and Ministry training will take place at the Witbank House of Prayer. You will study on campus at Witbank House of Prayer where you become part of a student body and student life, and connect with IHOPU-online students worldwide.
Forerunner School of Ministry is a four-year degree in Biblical Studies where we prepare students to provide the body of Christ with one of our greatest needs in this hour: clarity, authority, and perspective from the scriptures. An expression of theological training that prioritizes intimacy with God and growing in prayer. The best way to learn is to do. We desire to thrust the willing into real leadership with real consequences that accelerate learning.
Forerunner School of Worship is a four-year degree. Many singers and musicians love Jesus, yet lack knowledge of the Scriptures or the revelation of God’s power. Students of our worship school learn to combine excellent musicianship, biblical depth, and intimacy with Jesus in the classroom, on a worship team, and in the place of prayer.
With this course you will;
Learn the language of music and train your ear to identify patterns and sounds.
Gain proficiency in your choice of keys, guitar, bass, drums, or another instrument.
Grow in your ability to thrive in hosting live worship by joining others on a team.
