Die Strand-Naastediens NPC focuses on providing quality, affordable accommodation and care options to the elderly and people who would like to retire in a community environment. Currently, the organisation owns and operates three retirement facilities, namely Ametis, Altena and Serenitas, offering services and options to older people with varying levels of mobility and dependency.
Ametis is the original initiative of Die Strand-Naastediens, and has been constructed in the form of an apartment block, with stunning sea and mountain views. Ametis houses about 150 residents in both single and double units.
Altena, similar to Ametis, is a high-rise building offering accommodation to approximately 220 residents in single and double units also with stunning views of the ocean and mountains. Altena offers a Frail Care Unit that can accommodate 38 residents.
Serenitas is the latest development, and is suitable for those who are more independent and prefer to live in garden units. Serenitas consists of single and double detached equities that are available for rental to 300 residents. There are two Frail Care Units namely Charles Morkel and SereniCare that can house 142 residents in both single and double rooms, as well as general halls.
The Frail Care Units at Altena and Serenitas are available to all three the retirement villages residents.
Any prospective residents can apply for admission to the facility of their choice.
